Folk Music & Beyond celebrates the life of Bay Area documentary film maker Les Blank, who passed away last week. Subjects of his films included food, gap-toothed women, film director Werner Herzog, and American roots music. We'll listen to music from the film soundtracks of "J'ai Ete Au Bal", "Chulas Fronteras", and "Del Mero Corazon". Film maker Maureen Gosling joins host Sandy Miranda to talk about her former colleague and her fond memories of their adventures together. Saturday 4/13 at 3 pm.
