Today is International Worker's Day or May Day. Thousands of people in the Bay Area are planning to skip school and work and publicly protest shrinking social services, the expansion of ICE, political manipulation, international wars, and rampant corporate interests.
Today, KALW’s news team will be out in the field to provide live coverage on-air and online page between 11am and 4pm. Tune in at 91.7 FM, return to this page and follow our Instagram for regular updates.
KALW's local and independent reporting is made possible by our donors. Please give during our Spring Membership Campaign to keep our reporting alive.
