Representative Barbara Lee // When US Attorney Melinda Haag opened her mail last week she found this message from four East Bay members of Congress: “It is counterproductive and economically prohibitive to continue a path of hostility toward [cannabis] dispensaries.”
Weed Blog // Cannabis extracts, such as butane hash oil, could get their own classifications if a request by the Drug Enforcement Administration is accepted.
ASA // Americans for Safe Access, a national advocacy group, released a white paper Monday that they plan to use as “a key element” of their 2014 campaign. The report is titled “Third Time the Charm? State Laws on Medical Cannabis Distribution and Department of Justice Guidance on Enforcement.”
