This week on Open Air, actor and trumpet player Philip Watt discusses “Chetty’sLullaby” at Stagewerx, about the tragic downfall of legendary  jazz musician Chet Baker; San Francisco playwright Lauren Gundersonshares details about her new stage play "Silent Sky", which is currently in production at TheatreWorks and tells the story of Henrietta Leavitt, an early 20th century female scientist who made startling discoveries in the 'man’s world' of astronomy;  and director Bill English talks about the first West Coast production of “Jerusalem” at San Francisco Playhouse, Jez Butterworth’s epic Tony and Olivier award-winning play. Regular contributor Peter Robinson talks about the San Francisco Public Libraryand gives some of his picks for the Mostly British Film FestivalOpen Air with David Latulippe, originally broadcast on January 16, 2014 at 1pm.
