Election 2015: Reed Martin on why he should be SF's next mayor

mayorgrandsf.org / Reed for Mayor
Mayoral candidate Reed Martin

Reed Martin is running for mayor of San Francisco.

Martin has worked in the tech industry as a design thinker. He’s served on committees concerned with Market Street and city transit. And he has a plan to dedicate up to 90 million dollars of city budget money to funding ideas generated by the public.

We’ve been talking with all six San Franciscans with their names on the ballot for mayor. This is Reed Martin, in an interview with KALW's Ben Trefny.

I think we need to really orient tech around solving some of those big problems, and addressing how we are impacting them today, and how we can grow a much better city as a whole.

I served as interim Executive Director for nearly two years. My work is currently focused on creating original live events, programming, and building partnerships with like-minded organizations.
