Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited is a set of three live shows featuring 9 Bay Area bands, each reintrepreting a song from Dylan's classic album. The showcase highlights the father-son relationship Bob Dylan had with Allen Ginsberg as well as the influence of Beat Poet culture on Bob Dylan’s writing in the mid-1960′s. Shows are on September 5 & 6 at the Freight and Salvage and on September 8 at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. Performances by:
