KALW's got you covered this election day

Starting at 5 p.m. we'll be carrying NPR's coverage of the battle for the House and the Senate. The nation's politics over the next few years will be set in motion tonight, and we'll bring you the results as they're registered.
As the polls close in California, the KALW news team will join NPR with state and regional results from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. We've deployed more than half-a-dozen reporters around the Bay Area to cover the Oakland mayor's race, the Richmond mayor's race, the minimum wage measures in San Francisco and Oakland, and the soda tax proposals in San Francisco and Berkeley. Add the highly-contested race for Assembly between two San Francisco supervisors named David, along with six statewide ballot measures, and you'll have plenty to listen to at the local, state and national levels.

Then, tune in tomorrow morning, when the Crosscurrents Morning Report will broadcast all the results at 8:51 a.m., closing out a Morning Edition that will update you on the new political landscape.

Get out and vote, then hunker down with your radio. All around the Bay, and the nation, KALW's got you covered.
