The Three Point Nine Collective is a group of Black artists in San Francisco. They take their name from the expected percentage of Black San Franciscans left by the 2020 census.
Three members of the collective – Michael Ross, Nancy Cato, and William Rhodes – spoke with KALW's Todd Whitney on the group's formation, what it means for San Francisco to lose its Black community, and what they hope to accomplish with their art.
