ROBERT GAMMON: It's tough to be a journalist for numerous different reasons, first and foremost journalism faces a lot of financial challenges and so there are far fewer journalists today than ever before, and so even finding a position within journalism is tough. And then obviously as we saw in France, journalists face dangers. It happened in Oakland a few years ago when a journalist Chauncey Bailey was assassinated for investigating a group essentially.
