Work with Marty Nemko, 3/27/16: What's Up with Mental Health Apps?

The longer I've been a career counselor, the more I've come to realize that successfully guiding people regarding their career often requires a consideration of their mental health issues.

So on the March 27, 2016 edition of Work with Marty Nemko, I talk with Psyberguide.org's Dr. Michael Knable, on what's up with mental health apps. With people wanting their mental health treatments here, now, and mobile, a number of intriguing apps have been developed and are in trial use by Kaiser Permanente and other  health care systems.

In the show's second segment, I offered advice on how to deal with an angry or micromanaging boss. I also did Workovers on callers to address their career question.

Work with Marty Nemko is heard every Sunday from 11 AM to noon on 91.7 FM in San Francisco and worldwide on KALW.org.

It is archived on npr.org, iTunes, and permanently on this web page.
