On the May 11th edition of Your Call, we’ll have a conversation about art and activism in the digital age. The Bay Area has a rich history of using art to inform, engage, and propel social justice. The Take this Hammer exhibit at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts explores how artists are using the internet and technology to inspire a global dialogue about the most pressing issues of our time.

How does art and the internet affect activism and movement building? It’s Your Call with Rose Aguilar and you.

Guests:

Christian L. Frock, guest curator at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts for the exhibit Take this Hammer: Art + Media Activism in the Bay Area

Favianna Rodriguez, interdisciplinary artist, cultural organizer, political activist, and executive director of CultureStrike

Oree Originol, artist and founder of Justice for Our Lives
