California’s five-year drought dried out over 1,000 wells and drained aquifers. As entire towns relied on bottled water to shower and cook, agriculture recorded record profits. Airing on National Geographic on March 14th, the new documentary Water & Power: A California Heist asks: who is getting rich off of the state’s water?
