Your Call weekly kudos: March 4th, 2016

On the March 4th edition of Your Call, it’s our Friday media roundtable.

After declaring the front runners in the Democratic and Republican parties, the talk turned to general election, and deepening crisis in the Republican Party. Who is going beyond the sound bites to hold candidates accountable. Who is providing context, and substance about candidates, their history, and policies? Join the conversation, on the next Your Call, with Mark Hertsgaard and you.

Guests:

David Cay Johnston, Pulitzer-prize winning journalist, Distinguished Visiting Lecturer at Syracuse University, and editor of the new anthology “Divided: The Perils of Our Growing Inequality" gave kudos to the Irish Times reporter Fintan O'Toole for his coverage of Ireland's latest election. David also gave kudos to the Denver Post's Jon Murray and John Frank for their piece "Bernie Sanders may not have won Colorado after all."

John Nichols, political writer for The Nation gave kudos to Santa Cruz Sentinel reporter Wallace Baine for his article "Families of disabled adults find hope in Santa Cruz housing project."
