Blame Sally

Today's Local Music: Blame Sally

Apr 7, 2016

Today’s local music is by the Bay Area band called Blame Sally. They’re one of four groups coming together for the benefit of long-time KALW program host and board operator Kevin Vance.

Lesbians and their friends take over the stage at Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse in Berkeley Friday, Nov. 13, in a concert benefiting Americans United for Separation of Church and State, which has defended the rights of LGBT people in many recent legal cases and political battles.

What do you call the winner of Best Song in three different categories in last summer’s Independent Music Awards Poll? The answer is: Blame Sally.

Blame Sally will be performing in the Bay Area on Saturday, December 1, for the first time since winning those awards. They’ll be at the Kanbar Center for Performing Arts, part of the Osher Marin JCC in San Rafael. Music starts at 8 p.m.
