Winter Solstice Celebration this Sat. 3 pm

Dec 18, 2014

"Folk Music & Beyond" presents "A Winter's Night: Music and Poetry for the Solstice" this Saturday at 3 pm.  This special holiday event was recorded last year in Berkeley.  Former NPR host Neal Conan reads poems, stories, and prose by Jack London, Mary Oliver, Jim Harrison, May Sarton, Julia Child, and Ogden Nash.  He's accompanied by members of the Celtic folk band Ensemble Galilei.
