job hunting

On the May 29, 2016 edition of Work with Marty Nemko, I offer advanced tips on finding good work.

On the Apr. 17, 2016 edition of Work with Marty Nemko, I read excepts from cartoonist Matt Groening's book, "Work is Hell!" I then invite listeners to weigh in.

On the Sept. 28, 2014 edition of Work with Marty Nemko, I devote the entire hour to you: Call-in Workovers. Whatever career conundrum is besetting you or someone you care about, I usually can help. At least the price is right. I'll also offer my favorite new career tips and musings.

After 26 years as a career and personal coach, I've come to believe that there are eight career "truths" that are no longer so true or perhaps never were so true.

On the June 9, 2013 edition of Work with Marty Nemko, I tried to present a more nuanced approach to thinking about four of those truths.

On the June 16, 2013 show, I talked about three more of those "truths' and invited you to comment. As usual, I also invited your calls for a Three-Minute Workover, in which I try to help you with your career conundrum.

On the July 22, 2012  edition of Work with Marty Nemko, I shared my favorite ideas from the book The $100 Start-Up.  Then, listeners called in for a three-minute WorkOver.  The show aired Sunday, July 22 at 11 am.

Work with Marty Nemko is heard Sundays from 11 am to noon on 91.7, KALW, San Francisco.

Every Sunday from 11 am to noon, I try to help you solve your career conundrum, no matter how serious. Usually, I only devote part of the show to those Three-Minute Workovers. But on Sunday, June 3, I'll do Workovers for the entire hour, interspersed with my favorite new career tips.
