The music you’re hearing now is by The Hot Club of San Francisco.

The Hot Club of San Francisco will be opening for Randy Newman on Sunday (06.28) at San Francisco’s Stern Grove Festival. It’s the festival’s 78th year, and it’s free, as always. But get there early for good seats. Music starts at 2pm.

This week, San Francisco Opera General Director David Gockley and conductor Nicola Luisotti talk about the World Premiere of the SF Opera co-commissioned opera “Two Women;” Steven Haines, Executive Director for Stern Grove Festival will be joined in studio by Grammy winning Christian Tumalan, director of Pacific Mambo Orchestra; the Real Vocal String Quartet returns for a live studio visit ; and Peter Robinson shares cinema reviews.  Open Air with David Latulippe ~ Thursday
